Available for auction is an original Porsche dealership sign that was first installed in 1970 when the “RS Porsche” dealer on Corso Bramante in Turin, Italy opened. It was taken down in 2001 when the dealer moved to Strada Della Pronda (always in Turin). Since then, the sign has been carefully stored until the seller purchased it and shipped it to the US. The sign originally used neon but was converted in Italy to LED and converted by the seller to US voltage. The power supply is suitable for 110 or 220-volt input. Each letter is approximately 22 inches wide by 12 inches high by 2 3/4 inches deep. The seller states a light restoration was performed using zinc spray outside and white rust preventer inside. The restoration was deliberately limited to protective measures to preserve its originality. Some weathering, patina, and minor cracks are present. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
