Available for auction is a set of Brand New In Box 1997 18" Porsche Speedline two-piece wheels. The seller states that these wheels are in brand new excellent condition and have never been mounted to a vehicle. These original 90s date-coded examples also include their original and matching date-stamped Porsche boxes.

These Porsche Speedline wheels were made for the 993 platforms including the RS and Turbo. This set of Speedlines was produced in 1997. The front wheels display the date code 1996/1997 but the outer final date code is 1997. The seller has owned this set since late 1997 and states they have been in a climate-controlled condition since then.

Casting marks including part numbers and manufacturer logos can be seen on the rear of the wheels. While best suited for narrow-body 993 and 996 models, these wheels may fit numerous vehicles. Please verify fitment on your intended application before bidding. Finding a Brand New In Box set of Speedlines with proper 90s date stamps is nearly impossible. Don't miss your opportunity. The buyer is responsible for shipping and handling charges.

@OnePorscheGuy Hello and thank you for question.

These speedline wheels were originally developed for the narrow body 993 platform, so there should be no fitment issue. I would double check your offsets just to make sure.

I have seen these wheels of course on a RS, the twin turbo (TUV approved spacers) as well as standard narrow body 993.

I’m very thankful that everybody loves the wheels!

It’s amazing that when I purchased them brand new in the late 90s, I would still have them brand new in the box 25 years later.

@Lotusx You are absolutely correct on the last set available from Porsche. I loved to see the original Porsche boxes. I wish you well with your sale.

  • Lotusx (seller) 1 year, 5 monthsago

@lekrz Thank you for clarifying, both narrow body and widebody fitment. There are plenty of TUV approved spacers that can be used.

The owner in Belgium is a fantastic guy to work with and supplied me with many rare obsolete parts over the years.

What makes this set of wheels so special is the fact that they are built while the 993 production run was still produced.

There is no other known set of new old stock wheels built with proper 1995 through 1997 date codes available anywhere in the world except for this set.

I have a set of these on my 993 C2 and are designed to fit C2 narrow body without spacers. They will work on wide body cars with spacers. These were purchased when Porsche still had available. They have been discontinued from Porsche but available from Carnuebal in Belgium.

@johnnyv555 My apologies for not showing the detail, each wheel has the perfect “Speedline for Porsche” “etching”.

Also, on the opposite side of the lip is the offset and width.

I am uploading photos, and I would be more than happy to photograph all four wheels showing the detail of each logo if somebody would like it.

I am always available to answer any questions, no matter how small or detailed.
