This stunning 4.3L V8 engine had a connecting rod failure causing damage to the block deeming it unrepairable and is ready for its new life as a showpiece. The seller states all of the internal components are still present as well as the carbon fiber intake manifold. The F136 engine found in the F430 Scuderia was the last naturally aspirated Ferrari V8. Utilizing the company’s F1 technology, the F136 was made in the same factory, using the same machinery and processes used for the F1 team. Revised pistons, connecting rods, aggressive camshafts, optimized crank geometry, and a new carbon fiber manifold were put in place. The F136 family created a habit of winning at the International Engine of the Year competition, claiming eight awards.
