Available for auction is a large authentic Ferrari dealership flag from the 1980s. This large flag measures approximately 12 ¾’ feet by 5’ feet and includes the original certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer Fahnen-Herold. Fahnen Herold is known for producing original dealer flags for Ferrari dealers in Germany.
The iconic prancing horse symbol, known as Cavallino Rampante, first appeared on an Italian fighter plane flown by Francesco Baracca during World War One. Baracca tragically died in 1918 when his Spad VII was shot down. Enzo Ferrari later met Baracca's parents, who proposed using the Cavallino symbol on his racecars for good luck. Ferrari eventually adopted his own version of the logo, which is still used on their cars today.
The seller notes reinforcements have been made on the top of the flag where the rod slides through the fabric sleeve but overall is in good condition. Don't miss your opportunity to own an authentic Ferrari dealership flag. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.
