This limited-edition chronograph was released as a reimagined design of the original collaboration between the two iconic companies, Tag Heuer and Gulf oil back in 1969. The Tag Heuer Gulf Special Edition chronograph maintained the beloved 39mm x39mm square case that pays homage to the original Moncao design from 1969. However, this reimagined rendition features a three-part steel case introduced in 1998, a sapphire crystal, rectangular-shaped pusher, slimmer lugs, and an open case back that showcases the intricate movement. 
This TAG Heuer Gulf chronograph presents a refined dial that beautifully incorporates the distinct Gulf elements. Featuring a captivating dark blue Sunday dial with white sub-counters, the design showcases two contrasting stripes — a vibrant blue and the iconic vivid orange. Positioned a 5 o’clock, the Gulf logo elegantly graces the dial above the date window. Adding to the Gulf-inspired aesthetic, the hands and 5-minute markers are adorned with red paint. Embracing the essence of the Gulf brand, this timepiece is complimented by a blue perforated leather strap finished with contrast orange stitching.
