Available for auction is an authentic illuminated 1960s Gulf Oil sign. The sign measures approximately 48” inches in length, and 48” inches in height, with a depth of 11” inches. The sign features the iconic orange and blue Gulf Oil logo and was created from one-half of an original two-sided display. The plastic Gulf face was placed within a custom-fabricated aluminum can and modernized with energy-efficient LED lights with 120v circuitry. The original Gulf artwork remains well preserved and exhibits a beautiful natural patina.
