Good Morning , Thank you for your feedback on this piece. You are indeed correct that there is a very unique manufacturing variation with respect to dimples on the sign. Previously owned by the Porsche of Lexington dealership, this piece was liquidated post closure of the dealership. Due to the dimple variation, it most likely was stored in their warehouse until closure. Thank you for your interest in this piece of Porsche history !

Hello seller, this looks an amazing sign. However, I am struggling to get over what looks like a fairly significant manufacturing error with the crest.
At the bottom end it looks like the small dimpled/textured effect is bizarrely missing. I know it won’t make much difference but do you happen to know why it’s like this?
