Available for auction is a double-sided Tag Heuer Porsche Motorsports illuminated event sign believed to be from the 1990s. This sign was produced by the German company Rudolf who are authorized to manufacture Porsche signs and displays. The sign measures approximately 23 ½” inches in height, 47 ½” inches in length, and 4” inches in depth.
The sign features two translucent panels that are housed within a robust aluminum casing. Each panel showcases both the Tag Heuer and Porsche logo, set on a white background. The lighting has recently been updated and it is now operated by LED lights powered by 220v European circuity with a UK plug (a US adaptor will be included). The sign features two support hooks at the top as the sign is intended to be hung from the ceiling.

The shipping with FedEx to your location will be approximately $400. This is for the economy service which takes on average a10-14 days to arrive.

The sign will operate on 110 volts as I will supply an adapter that connects to the UK plug which can then be plugged into a US wall socket. Literally a plug and play operation.
The sign is powered by LED lighting which has proven to be very advantageous for regions with different power supplies/voltage hence the reason in part of upgrading the signs lighting.
Normally a step down converter would have been required if the sign still had its fluorescent lighting, but that’s not required for LED lighting thankfully.
If you wanted to, you could easily remove the UK plug altogether and hard wire in a U.S. plug, avoiding the need for the adapter that I would be supplying.

Winning the auction and what happens next:
As many of you may know, the great team at PCarmarket offers a combination of very special and unique items for sale via auction. The format is simple - every week day a new hand picked selection of items is presented to the public and everyone is welcome to place a bid for those items.
Each auction lasts for 7 days. At the end of the auction the item will either be sold to the highest bidder, or the item may appear in the PCarmarket ‘Deal Tank’ if the ‘reserve’ has not been met. The Deal Tank allows for offers to be made on the item and also to purchase the item immediately.
When the item has officially been sold, both the buyer and the seller receive an email almost instantly with the other parties contact details. At this very point in the sales process, the buyers registered credit/bank card is charged for the PCarmarket commission and the final balance of the item in question is settled between both parties.
Packaging & Shipping:
Every item submitted to the PCarmarket website can be shipped almost anywhere in the world using companies such as UPS or FedEx.
I always do all that I can to ensure items are packaged professionally and safely. I do not charge for the actual packaging of the items as I have an abundance of shipping material in storage. The only cost would be for the actual courier itself.
Shipping Crates & Specialist Packaging:
In certain situations a shipping crate may be required for certain items and this may even be a special request of the winning bidder to ensure the safe delivery of the item in question.
Unless a shipping crate has been specified in the listing or in the comments section, then this will incur an additional cost to the shipping price as the crate would need to be commissioned by a specialist manufacturer (a 7-10 day turnaround time on average would be a fair estimate).
There would be no additional fees to organise the crate production (only the cost of the crate itself would be required and for it to be paid for in advance of production). I do appreciate the delicate nature of some items will benefit greatly from this. To enable a fair and balanced sale of these cherished items, I am happy to spend the time involved to have this request fulfilled if desired.
