Up for auction is this low-mileage 2002 Jaguar XK8 Convertible finished in British Racing Green over a beige leather interior. This convertible grand tourer features a 4.0 L V8 engine and is said to have been sparingly driven and maintained to a very high standard throughout its life up until the seller’s purchase in 2019. This well-preserved XK8 is now being offered out of Illinois with under 20k miles showing on the odometer.
The classic British Racing Green exterior finish is noted to be in very nice condition with only minor road-going wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). CARFAX shows a damage report in 2012 which is said to have resulted from a tire blowout. The tan convertible top is said to be in good condition and the factory optional 18” double-spoke alloy Sport wheels exhibit some minor curb rash. They are currently dressed in Pirelli Cinturato P7 all-season tires in front and Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires in the rear.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in beige leather with decorative burl walnut veneers. The interior is said to remain in great shape with some minor wear on the driver’s seat and a small crack depicted on the shifter surround. Factory options include automatic climate control, power-operated seats with driver’s position memory, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and remote entry. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly including the original radio.
This XK8 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0 L V8 engine paired with a ZF 5-speed automatic transmission. 290 HP is sent to the rear wheels and other performance features include speed-sensitive power steering, traction and stability control, variable cam phasing, and disc brakes with ABS-Plus. An oil change is said to have been carried out recently and the seller reports this Jaguar to be in strong running order and up to date on all routine service.
This sale will include a key and remote fob, a convertible top boot, and a clean title. With an original sticker price of over $75k, this low-mileage XK8 represents an incredible value.

@LCLESQ thanks for your interest. I could not find any papers with the build date, but the original deal date was 12/17/2001.
Hello-can you advise of the manufacture date of the car-It should be on the documentation that originally came with car-Thanks in advance
@Kemal1959 thanks for the interest. From what I know, the car was towed off the hwy after having a tire blow out. Unfortunately, CARFAX deeded that as an accident but as you can see, they do not mention anything about where the car would have been damaged. From the records I have (that come with the sale) there are no indications of any body work ever being done to the car.
Can you please elaborate on the accident, explanation of,the repairs and cost
