Available for auction is an original Pennzoil curbside sign. The oval sign measures 21” in height with a width of 33” and the base is 50” in height with the base measuring 20” in diameter. The sign sits on a metal frame and the seller states the sign is in good condition with some minor patina from age.

I have added a picture of the only other sign I can find online that is similar, not the straps, but the bases are the same and original. I just don't think there are many of these out there. Any other questions please reach out.

The welds are not super pretty but they do appear original yes.
I have uploaded some new photos to address some questions about the base. If you look closely at the underside of the base, it is threaded, and the top oval part also threads to the pipe up top. The eyelets are original to the piece as well. The hooks are not of course, from what I can tell there should have been small metal or leather straps holding the sign but the base is original and quite rare from research results. The "s" hooks would be the only part on the entire sign that are not. If I was guessing, these were "assembled" on site, allowing the odd shape to travel flat. Maybe someone else can shed some light?
