Available for auction is an incredibly rare and authentic 1980s Fiat Servizio garage sign. This remarkable sign, although no longer illuminated, still retains its captivating charm. Unfortunately, the original backing and internal electrics were not included when this sign was purchased by the seller's father.
The sign boasts vibrant colors that immediately catch the eye, showcasing its distinctiveness. While the seller believes this sign, along with others from the same era and style, may have been produced by Neon Modena, there are no stickers to confirm.
These signs were exclusive to the Italian market, making this particular piece even more exceptional. Sourced from the Florence region and previously owned by another private collector, this sign carries a unique history. Crafted from vacuum-formed plastic, the sign features embossed yellow edges that beautifully frame the piece. Despite being used outdoors, its condition is exceptional, with only minor surface scratches and no cracks or significant damage.

If I can pay you $800 USD including a quality metal sign box, bright LED lights, packing & shipping. I will buy & pay right away. This is for a plug-in & hang finished product. I believe that is a fair offer. I know the shipping hurts, but there is little we can do with that…… unless you know someone flying over near Allentown, Pennsylvania any time soon 😆😆
@Pebblegreens I absolutely understand the points you mentioned.
In terms of shipping, the crate will likely cost around $250 and the shipping cost with FedEx will be around $300. That being said, I do have some very strong boxes in storage that I feel will be sufficient for ensuring this reaches you safely. This will result in no crate being required and thus saving the additional cost of $250 approximately. Insurance of the item will come included as well.
I also know a local company who would be happy to install the LED lighting. They are professional and they use excellent equipment and materials. I can always obtain a quote should this be of interest.

With the cost to ship, have a proper sign box built, wire the sign for lighting, etc…….I have factored all these costs into my offer. I understand if you cannot accept. I appreciate the offer you sent me.

I can fully relate to the experiences of receiving damaged goods in the post. My Father lost countless items due to damage and some items were literally irreplaceable.
I have sent secure crates on pallets and that definitely reduces any prospect of potential damage significantly. Sometimes it’s even more economical to do it this way especially if there is more that one item being transported.
I do genuinely appreciate your offer on the sign but unfortunately it’s just not possible for me to let it go for this amount. I will send over a counter offer that I hope will be of interest.
If you are decorating a garage then this very rare sign will certainly look wonderful on display.

Unfortunately I have a relative in hospital at the moment and an overload of commitments and I do sincerely apologize to everyone for my late introduction and for the lack of information regarding shipping.
I just want to let everyone know that worldwide shipping of this sign is available.
I have listed below an estimated cost of the shipping based on the dimensions:
UK - £80
Europe - €150
U.S.A. - $210
The price above is just an estimate and may vary slightly (possibly less and possibly a little more). I am always keen to make sure items are very well packaged and as a result the shipping estimation may change slightly.
I always use UPS and each item is fully insured against damage or loss. Furthermore, I do not charge for the actual packaging of the items as I have an abundance of packaging material in storage. The only cost would be for the actual courier itself.
