I just looked at Onthedash.com. It says the first version of the Monte Carlo was introduced in 1958. Soon after they changed the hands and typeface to the Monte Carlo that I am offering. The last 3 button one was made in 1967. The early ones, like mine, had the word PATENT just above the single digit window. The links to those pages with photos are http://www.onthedash.com/monte-carlo-overview/ and http://www.onthedash.com/watches/monte-carlo/

@Schnell Sorry,I but dont know the year it was made since I found it in a car I bought many years ago.I will go to the site www.onthedash.com tonight and see if I can learn what year it is based on the number 17303 on the outer case or the number inside on the mechanism. I dont think they issued these by year but if I cant get the exact year, hopefully I can get the range of years this version was made based on the shape of the hands and the type face used on the words Monte Carlo.

Welcome to this auction for my Heuer A&F Monte Carlo. It came in the glove compartment of a 1969 Mercedes 300 SEL that I bought from the original owner back in 1991. It spent most of its life since then in my top dresser drawer. When I came across it last spring, it worked but was a bit stiff so I had it gone through by Back in Time (see receipt in photo section). Now it works like new. My hope is that it will be mounted in a car again- where it belongs. I am happy to answer any questions in the days ahead
