Available for auction is a 1/5 Pilot Ferrari F40 LM GTE Michelotto 24h Le Mans huge superscale RC-petrol car. The RC car is modeled after the iconic PILOT Ferrari F40 LM (later GTE) that raced the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1995 and 1996, chassis number #ZFFGJ34B000074045. The RC car comes with a book that documents the history, photos, and information on the Pilot Ferrari F40 LM GTE. The chassis 74045 started life as the second of Ferrari’s F40 prototypes.

The chassis 74045 started life as the second of Ferrari’s F40 prototypes. One of 19 constructed by Michelotto to either F40 LM or F40 Competizione specification, a two-time participant at the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1995 and 1996, finishing 12th overall in 1995, winner of the 1995 Anderstorp 4 Hours, and with multiple finishes in the 1995 and 1996 BPR Global GT series, and the third F40 constructed, used extensively by the factory as a pre-production prototype. The RC car measures over 3ft long and is built on an aluminum chassis Bei Lauterbacher in Germany, tuned petrol race-engine by the engine professional Domenico Virgadamo to a VMAX of 130 km/h. Real carbon was used and even Michelotto was contacted to find the exact color code.

Whether you are a Ferrari enthusiast, a collector, or just simply someone who appreciates fine craftsmanship, this 1/5 Pilot Ferrari F40 LM GTE RC car would make a striking addition to any collection. Good day,
As a enthusiast of remote controlled vehicles, a few photos of what’s underneath the F40s body would be helpful.
    Cheers!
