Available for auction is an illuminated promotional sign said to be commissioned by the British Racing Drivers Association for the 70th Anniversary of Ferrari in 2017. The sign measures approximately 5’ feet in length, and 5’ feet in height, with a depth of 6 ½” inches. The plastic translucent face features an assortment of sponsor logos including; Marlboro, Agip, Ray-Ban, Mahle, and tic-tac. In the left-hand corner, a large Ferrari shield is featured and the sign reads “F1 Paddock” across the middle.
The sign is constructed of an aluminum frame and illuminated by energy-efficient LED lights powered by UK circuitry. The seller states the sign is in excellent condition considering it endured a brief time outdoors in the British climate. The seller notes some minor markings around the F1 logo/name and some minor surface scratches. The sign received a new backing panel in 2018 (please see gallery).
The event was attended by 25,000 fans and featured a host of events including on-track activities from the F1 Clienti, FXX, 599XX, FXX K, and the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. The Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone was the only location in the UK where Ferrari fans were able to see all of these different track activities. Coincidentally, it was also held during the same weekend where the end-of-season Finali Mondiali races occurred. More notable was the presence of historic F1 cars from Ferrari’s illustrious racing heritage which were driven on the track as part of the demonstration laps.The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.
The seller would like you to know: “This sign was featured at a number of events from 2017-2019 as well and was sold to a private and devout Ferrari enthusiast in the spring of 2020. Due to unforeseen planning restrictions that prevented the sign from being displayed at the desired premises, the new owner reluctantly sold the sign to my Father later the same year and it has been lurking in storage ever since.”

Winning the auction and what happens next:
As many of you may know, the great team at PCarmarket offers a combination of very special and unique items for sale via auction. The format is simple - every week day a new hand picked selection of items is presented to the public and everyone is welcome to place a bid for those items.
Each auction lasts for 7 days. At the end of the auction the item will either be sold to the highest bidder, or the item may appear in the PCarmarket ‘Deal Tank’ if the ‘reserve’ has not been met. The Deal Tank allows for offers to be made on the item and also to purchase the item immediately.
When the item has officially been sold, both the buyer and the seller receive an email almost instantly with the other parties contact details. At this very point in the sales process, the buyers registered credit/bank card is charged for the PCarmarket commission and the final balance of the item in question is settled between both parties.
Packaging & Shipping:
Every item submitted to the PCarmarket website can be shipped almost anywhere in the world using companies such as UPS or FedEx.
This special sign will require a custom made shipping crate and FedEx would be the best courier to undertake the delivery. The cost of the shipping crate is likely to be approximately $400 and the shipping with FedEx to the USA would be approximately $800.
There would be no additional fees to organise the crate production (only the cost of the crate itself would be required and for it to be paid for in advance of production).
