Available for auction is an authentic and exceedingly rare illuminated RUF showroom sign. The seller states this single-sided sign is in excellent condition, was produced in Germany, and has an original RUF sticker on the back. The sign measures approximately 41” inches x 18” inches. The seller has refrained from opening the sign and believes it has fluorescent lighting which is powered by 220v European circuitry (US adaptor included).

The iconic RUF brand has stood for excellence in the automotive world. Located in the heart of Bavaria, Germany, Rüf Automobile is a family-owned car manufacturer. In addition to the family name of the founder Alois Ruf Sr., Ruf stands for engineering excellence, originality, passion, and pure driving excitement. The vaunted history of RUF Automobile started in 1939 by Alois Ruf Sr. as a German service garage but later began experimenting with vehicle designs in the late 1940s. His love of automobile customization and design was passed down to Alois Jr. when he began servicing and restoring Porsches in the early 60s. It wasn't until 1975 after the passing of Alois Sr. that the first RUF model Porsche came into existence. The RUF 930 was officially unveiled in 1977, followed by the naturally aspirated 911 SCR in 1978.

Don’t miss your opportunity to own a remarkable piece of automotive history, a rare large illuminated RUF sign. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR ,,,,,,Yes, it's just that the sign has false data
This sticker/stamp here on the back contains mistakes/errors
in the address that a normal German does not make.
If you claim that it is a stamp, it is even more doubtful that it comes from RUF at all.
The correct address of RUF is:
    RUF Automobile GmbH
    Mindelheimer Straße 21
    D-87772 Pfaffenhausen.
Your sticker (you claim it is original) says:
Mindehalmar and the correct street name is> Mindelheimer
...then it says: Pfaffenhauesan and the correct name of the city is Pfaffenhausen.
Additionally, Germany does not add the letter "D" before the country's name because the letter "D" is part of the postal code and stands for "Deutschland"

@GmbH <<<<<<<<<With this statement you declare that the content
of the text is false and not original.

This sign has false data and is not true, and if all the others had the same thing,
it means that one seller took a pattern from another to print
for sales purposes without analyzing whether the content was correct.
Don't tell me I'm wrong because I am.
You put up a counterfeit RUF mark and firmly claim
that it is original and comes straight from Germany.

  • GmbH (seller) 2 monthsago

All other RUF signs that others have sold here have the same sticker.

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

@GmbH .....I'm asking you this question because you are selling the item
and you claim it is original from RUF,
but everything indicates that it is not original.
You have a cardinally false stamp and you are still answering off-topic.
Why the street name is incorrect on the sticker or stamp
Mindehalmar when the correct street name is>Mindelheimer????
...then it says: Pfaffenhauesan and the correct name of the city is Pfaffenhausen????

  • GmbH (seller) 2 monthsago

@Andrew97 why don’t you reach out to everyone else and ask them the same question and move on?

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

@GmbH ....why don't you answer my question: why does the stamp contain incorrect entries?

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

    @Gabeluca1227 ,,,, <<<<on the sticker or stamp :
Mindehalmar and the correct street name is> Mindelheimer
...then it says: Pfaffenhauesan and the correct name of the city is Pfaffenhausen.

You're the type of guy who doesn't accept information that the stamp has a fake street name and city name. The rest is also questionable.
Your family in Germany certainly does not know German

  • Gabeluca1227 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Wow I don't know what I'm saying I have family live in Germany and friends they and until today they still use Deutschland even with Germany address .
Just because the address have or don't have d doesn't mean is fake since u are that type of guy do ur research ..

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

@Gabeluca1227 <<<<<Your statements as to the originality of the item are highly questionable.
You have no idea what you're writing about.

That's an authentic sign by ruf I sold one for all the bidders here the authenticity of ruf sign are in the stamp in the back isn't even a sticker is a stamp attached to the sign and all ruf have the 'D' .
And other signs by made porsche the included the 'D' too.

You have an authentic ruf sign.

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

    @GmbH <<<<You didn't answer the question?
The sticker and your statements as to the authenticity of the item are highly questionable.
You will answer me personally whether I should ask a moderator from Pcarmarket about it

  • Andrew97 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

@GmbH <<<<<<I already asked one question in another auction
and noticed the same spelling errors.
I emphasize - the Germans would not make such mistakes,
so let's consider the fact whether this sign comes from the RUF and also from Germany.
    I rather doubt it.

  • GmbH (seller) 2 monthsago

@Andrew97 it’s the same sticker as the others that have sold here on Pcar. Why don’t you ask the other sellers the same question?

@GmbH <<<<< Hi. You wrote this: [it is from Germany.]+[I checked with my source and it is from the RUF company. Thank you]
The correct RUF company address is:
    RUF Automobile GmbH
    Mindelheimer Straße 21
    D-87772 Pfaffenhausen .
On your sticker (you claim it is original) it is printed:
Mindehalmar and the correct name of the street is> Mindelheimer
... then it is written: Pfaffenhauesan and the correct name of the town is Pfaffenhausen.
Moreover, Germans do not add the letter "D" before the name of the country because the letter "D" is part of the postal code and means "Deutschland".
SO HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN SUCH MAJOR ERRORS ON THE PRINTED STICKER? Regards
