Available for auction is a 1964 Ferrari Perpetual Wall Calendar by Gerrer. Crafted by the renowned French manufacturer known for producing elegant advertising displays for prestigious European brands such as Air France and Champagne Mumm, this rare piece beautifully embodies mid-century design.

The calendar showcases the iconic Ferrari Prancing Horse set against a vibrant Giallo Modena background accented by the Italian tricolore. Constructed of enameled metal with a glass front panel, it features manually operated wooden sliders with rotating side knobs to adjust the day, date, and month displayed in French.

Signed by the maker, it measures approximately 9.5" x 13.5" and remains in good vintage condition with light wear, including minor paint loss, surface marks, and a warm patina consistent with age. The seller notes the calendar is in used condition. A highly collectible and visually striking piece of Ferrari memorabilia, this calendar makes an exceptional addition to any collection, office, or automotive-themed display.

@Lexraffy Hello and thank you for your comment. I understand your point, but this calendar was crafted by Gerrer, a known French manufacturer that produced advertising and display pieces for several European brands, including Ferrari, during the 1960s.

The calendar shown here matches documented examples within Ferrari memorabilia collections — featuring the same Giallo Modena enamel finish, wooden sliders, and French month indicators. The patina and minor imperfections are consistent with age, and the front has not been repainted or restored.

From what I know, this piece was reproduced by the original maker as shown, so I can’t say more than that but I appreciate your attention to detail.

It could be very interesting, but the fact is that if you take a closer look I’m a Ferrari collector there are two things that are wrong. The first is the frame around the end, which doesn’t match either the 1950s or the 1960s style. And another thing that’s incorrect is the Ferrari lettering, as well as the position of the prancing horse, which doesn’t reflect how the emblem actually looked between the 1950s and the 1990s it remained consistent throughout those years.
It’s clear that the yellow front part has been reprinted or repainted it would be better to just state the truth and say it’s been restored or repainted. Beyond that, there’s no clarification, because in the 1950s and 1960s these plaques were made not only for Ferrari. So how can we be sure that this one is an official piece made by Ferrari or by the author you mentioned? That’s the problem
