This 1981 BMW R100R has been custom-built into a minimalist café racer by Purebreed Fine Motorcycles, a builder known for its handcrafted, performance-focused designs. Completed in 2015 as build #30, the bike pays homage to the earlier 1975 R75 model with a stripped-down aesthetic and vintage-inspired styling. Powered by an air-cooled 1000cc flat-twin engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, it features Tokico disc brakes, inverted telescopic forks, dual rear shocks, a hand-fabricated frame, a custom rear cowl with integrated LED lighting, a Motogadget Chronoclassic digital gauge, and more. This R100R café racer is now being offered for auction by the seller out of Canada.
The frame has been stripped and modified to achieve a café racer silhouette with minimal bodywork. It is finished in British Racing Green and fitted with a custom black leather solo seat featuring stitched detailing, a machined upper triple clamp engraved with the Purebreed crossed-hammer logo, a satin black front fender, and a custom rear cowl with integrated LED taillight and turn signals, as well as a rear-mounted license plate bracket. Additional exterior details include clip-on handlebars with integrated switches, bar-end mirrors, a fuel tank with retro BMW roundels, Purebreed branding on both sides, and a Motogadget Chronoclassic gauge offering analog and digital readouts. It rides on black-anodized 18” Sun Rims multi-spoke wheels wrapped in Avon Roadrider tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Power comes from a rebuilt, air-cooled 1000cc flat-twin engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-exit exhaust system fitted with a SuperTrapp muffler. Suspension duties are handled by inverted telescopic front forks and dual coilover rear shocks, while modern dual front discs with Tokico calipers manage braking. The electrical system has been modernized, with all electronics and lighting in working order and 1,383 kilometers (approximately 800 miles) shown since completion.

Worst case scenario is 2.5% ( 250$ for every 10000$ ) 2 most recent bike i sold to USA were tax exempt.
