Powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine, this 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe is finished in rare Marine Blue Metallic paint over Silver Grey leather upholstery and blue carpets. The car came factory-equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, an electric sunroof, an alarm system, and staggered-width 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. Cared for by the previous owner for about 8 years and reportedly serviced with an engine rebuild during that time, this 911 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 130k miles showing on the odometer. Click here to view the previous PCARMARKET listing.
The 930 is characterized by its wide fenders and distinctive "tea tray" rear spoiler. This example is finished in Marine Blue Metallic (L35V), a rarely seen factory paint color offered between 1987 and 1990. Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, a front chin spoiler, headlamp washers, black rear stone guard decals, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, dual exhaust outlets, and 16” Fuchs wheels with black-finished centers, polished outer lips, and colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on a set of Toyo Proxes T1R tires. Some paint chips are noted on the passenger side mirror as well as paint imperfections on the upper edge of the rear spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX showing unspecified damage reported in 2012.
The cabin is appointed with Silver Grey leather upholstery and contrasting blue carpets. Accessories include 8-way power-adjustable front seats, folding rear seatbacks, a three-spoke MOMO Competition steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning, a central locking system, an alarm system, a tachometer with an integrated turbo boost gauge, a quartz clock, and an aftermarket Sony head unit. The seller notes a minor crack on the center dashboard and the mirror adjustment switch knob is missing.
The car’s turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP and 289 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller notes an engine rebuild was performed under previous ownership approximately 30k miles ago, although no supporting invoices are available.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo is a stunning example finished in the rare and captivating Marine Blue Metallic—a color that gives this classic Porsche an elevated and distinguished presence. Inside, the gray leather seats paired with blue carpets create a refined and sporty contrast that you don’t see every day. The combination is eye-catching, unique, and truly sets this car apart.”

@baxter58 No, we have a lower and more aggressive reserve now.
Are you keeping the same reserve as previously?
@BALLALLDAY Hi, the car was not sold in April, unfortunately; it didn't meet the reserve.
Looks like this same car sold on April of 2025. Why selling back so soon ?

I noticed in the driving video that the Oil Gauge drops into the red and stays there under acceleration. Any info on that? I assume that is not normal.
@Hangar7 Good morning, unfortunately, there is still no information available about the accident. We tracked down the previous owner, and he didn't have any information either.
Has anything been changed since the last listing? Any more information on the accident from the previous owner?
Thanks!
