As we drop into the final 100 minutes of the Auction I just want to thank everyone for their bids.

Just a reminder, this is NO-RESERVE for these just refinished wheels. They have not been installed since they have been refinished. They are boxed and ready to go.

Please make sure to refresh your browser and do not wait until the last second to bid as you could miss out. Good luck to all!

    Thanks

@leorob38 as far as I know, the 944 and 968 are the same so I’m going to say yes.

  • leorob38 10 months, 3 weeksago

Do you know/think these will fit a Porsche 968? Thanks for your help!

Had some questions about shipping. I recently shipped two similar sized wheels from LA to Vegas for about $40+, so X2 and it’s about $100 , quoted another member about $180 to the mid-west, figure close to $300 to get across the country

@Tarek307 I think the prudent thing to do now the big bid has been removed is to at least put some kind of 3-digit bid in to lower my blood pressure these last few days haha

Added a pic of these wheels (not mine but same) installed on an SC Targa

@dlyted928 According to some threads I see on Rennlist you're looking for something in the ET65 which these are far from. Im going to say no, they wont

  • dlyted928 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

    Will these fit a 1987 Porsche 928s4

  • 2mAn (seller) 11 monthsago

@Tarek307 Yea, unfortunately they don’t work on 964s. I actually have a 2 more 17x9 rear wheels that were sold to a 964 owner and they are supposed to be on their way back as the offset isn’t correct.

  • Tarek307 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

So these wont' fit a 964??? Darn it.. @pcar plz cancel my bid, i made a mistake here thinking these will work on a 964

Thanks for kicking off the bidding @thephonz88

Hi Everyone! First auction here, but long-time lurker and dream bidder/ aircooled Porsche owner. I bought these wheels covered in Black Plastidip and painstakingly removed it and had the wheels painted and clearcoated. I've always loved the Cup1 style wheel as a RS America was my dream car growing up (80s baby here). Sadly, an RS America (and a 964 in general) are far out of my price range so my hope was to update the look of an SC with these.

Unfortunately the car I had planned to install these on is now gone, and Im closing in on the purchase of a Watercooled Porsche so the money lost on this will go towards that.

Im happy to answer any questions or show these in person, just be sure to hit the contact seller button so we can arrange a time to get together.

    Thanks!
