Offered for auction at NO RESERVE is this 1987 Porsche 924 S coupe. Having received a full engine overhaul just this year, this example is now stated to be in excellent running condition and is being offered with a clean bill of health and a clear rebuilt PA title.
Finished in white, this 924 is complemented by desirable NOS 924 hood stripes that give off an overall sportier feel. The paint is stated to be original aside from a respray of the driver's side fender and front lower spoiler. The exterior finish does show some typical road wear, but overall, presents itself as a very nice driver. Currently installed are a set of factory phone-dial wheels that wear Douglas Performance tires.

@goldwolf couldnt agree more! Not counting my labor, I have way more into it. These are the last of the affordable Porsches but not for long. Prices are increasing and we will probably all be kicking ourselves 5 years down the road

@GuyS Given the date code, I'd replace the tires for anything but a local drive. That was my only concern.
@719Autowerks I replaced the entire engine harness and decided to upgrade the troublesome factory reference sensor harness with the Lindsay Racing replacement. No other harnesses were affected. Thanks!!

@RacingPorsche Good question. There has been no change on the dipstick in 1000 miles but I have seen a drip or two on the garage floor. It's the tightest 2.5L I have ever owned as far as leaks go but then again so many of the seals have been replaced

@johndan12 Great Question! Yes, this fire was caused by a failed fuel line which is, unfortunately, VERY common on these cars as they age. The fuel hoses on these run right over the intake manifold. Fuel line replacement is a MUST on all 944s and 924s. Fuel lines have been replaced and are good for another 30 years!

@HTClassic It was totalled by the insurance company in Feb of 2019 due to a light engine fire. I purchased it and performed all the repairs. It has a Pennsylvania Reconstructed title. Thanks for the question!
