Up for auction at no-reserve is this 2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS finished in Crystal Silver Metallic over a black interior with Alcantara. This GTS has been treated to an off-road transformation by the Cayenne Specialists at Eurowise including a Eurowise 3.0” lift kit, 18” Alpha Echo wheels, Nitto Ridge Grappler off-road tires, and a Eurowise V2 roof rack. With its powerful V8 engine and AWD system, this Cayenne is ready to take on a variety of terrain while offering the luxury and refinement expected from a Porsche. Reported to have undergone several major service items in preparation for sale, this Cayenne GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina with just over 101k-miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in Crystal Silver Metallic, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. As a GTS version, this Cayenne also features exterior styling derived from the Turbo model. An enlarged rear spoiler was also optioned from the factory. Extra ground clearance is provided by a Eurowise model-specific 3.0” lift-kit, and other modifications include a Eurowise roof rack, custom blackout rear exhaust tips, and 18” Alpha Echo wheels dressed in rugged Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
Inside, the black leather interior features Alcantara upholstery, a moonroof, and the Light Comfort Package. Other factory options include heated front seats and steering wheel, a satellite radio receiver, Bi-Xenon headlights with washers, roll-up sunscreens on the rear side windows, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 2.1.
Power is derived from a 4.8L V8 engine which sends 405 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. A Eurowise subframe drop alignment was performed following the installation of the lift kit. Recent maintenance is said to include replacement of the left vacuum brake booster pump, fuel vapor leak detection pump, purge valve, and both lower control arms along with ball joints, bushings, and tie rods. A fresh Liqui Moly oil service was carried out as well.

@Off_Road_Dan Yes, that is correct. Common issues on the 955/957 are the rear trunk lid closing/opening. Good news is that there are no issues with this one at all (motor works fine). You are able to open/close the rear trunk lid with remote or inside of car.
I know that a common failure on these trucks is the automatic rear trunk motor. Is this one working properly as far as open and close?
@LR109 Thank you for taking the time to ask a very important question. If you look at picture #2 out of 99 we had to modify the lower front bumper trim just a hair. We also removed the factory GTS front lip before doing this. The benefit of going 285/65/18 with a 3” lift is that there is no rub. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Is there any rubbing at full lock? Did you have to create clearance to avoid that issue. Thank you.

There seems to be some confusion in the off-road Porsche world and we don’t want to add to it. Front light on “Long Lock ON/Low” middle light on “center lock” and this GTS was not offered with the “Rear lock” option. We appreciate your kind words. @Mulinaro_Motorcars no front locker on this. it causes confusion, the first light is showing low range, the second one is showing that the center lock is active, and the third light would light up if the the car was equipped with a rear locker and it was activated . really nice build, the sub frame drop shows that some thought and care was put into this for long time reliability and daily driving

@993David David, thank you for clarifying that. It does have 4 low. I wanted to brush up on your previews question as well the vehicle is equipped with center LOCK and front LOCK that can be engaged from the center control switch, no rear lock.

@993David We want to make sure we answer your question as best as we can. The great thing about the Eurowise lift kit is that the system functions as designed from the dealer, there are NO codes at all! One of the many reason why we chose to have this kit is on the vehicle. They are the leader in aftermarket parts for the “Porsche Off-Road” world. As far as “2 preyed” transfer case, I am not understanding what you are asking. Locking diff was not offered with this GTS.
@seller so the lift works with the air suspension and it works properly with no codes? Does it have a 2 preyed transfer case? Locking differential?

@pastorruss1956 Yes correct and everting is still functional! Eurowise 3+ inch lift kit it’s machined from 6061 aluminum solid block, these lift kits will never wear out or fail. Topped with a rubber dampening gasket to ensure no noise from metal to metal contact after installation. In addition we went with a 1" subframe drop kit with hardware to correct axle geometry. This is a direct bolt on lift kit that installs over the top of the OEM Struts.
Looks as though this GTS is equipped with air suspension. How does the Eurowise 3 inch lift kit work with the air suspension? Or was the air suspension replaced with coils and a lift kit?
@mknmoves we did not have to use any aftermarket wheel spacers for this set of wheel!

@abacpm New lower control arms, bushings, ball joint, tie rod, 3” Eurowise lift, 1”Subframe drop, and links. We also did an alignment after the work was completed. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Is the only item you changed in the suspension is the lift kit right?
@fpvga thank you! Control arm bushings are a common failure item on the 955/957 platform. We replaced them as a preventative measure. With the new arms you get both bushings and a new ball joint (factory). There are no geometry changes with a 3” lift and 1” subframe drop. (The 1” subframe drop re-centers the axle geometry to stock). The vehicle was inspected before it was listed. There were no cooling, driveshaft bearing or other issues discovered. Vehicle passed North Carolina inspection (safety/emissions) on 4/15/2021 right before submitting.
Hi there, great car. Any info on why the control arms were replaced? They were just replaced with OEM and no geometry changes I assume? Also, any info on coolant pipes, driveshaft bearings, other common maintenance items?
@82turboruf This GTS was not offered with a tow package, you are able to add one. As far as noise at 60mph you have minimal road noise with these nittos 275/65/18 we specifically went with a high grade for that reason.
