Up for auction at no reserve is this 2018 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic over a black interior with cloth seat centers.  This example was custom ordered before its original owner took delivery at the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen in May of 2018.  It came optioned with the Front Axle Lift System, LED headlights in black, instrument dials in White, illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel, and wheels painted in Satin Black with outer lips in Guards Red.  The car was enjoyed in Europe for several days before being imported back to the United States where it was upgraded with Cargraphic headers, high-flow catalysts, and Soul Performance muffler bypass pipes.  This GT3 accumulated 21,607 miles under the original ownership while being serviced exclusively through Porsche of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  The second owner purchased the car in May of 2021 and drove 1,233 miles before it was acquired by the selling dealer on July 28th, 2021.  Currently showing 23,396 miles on the odometer, this GT3 Touring is now being offered for auction without reserve by its seller out of Texas.

This GT3 was ordered in Sapphire Blue Metallic with the Touring Package in Black, LED headlights in black, and wheels painted in Satin Black with outer lips in Guards Red.  Custom removable Guards Red accents have been added to the mirror housings and clear paint protection film was applied over the front bumper, hood, fenders, A-pillars, rocker panels, and rear quarters.  A plastic protective film has also been added to the windshield.  The seller notes a few minor imperfections in the finish including a small mark on the plastic trim of the rear bumper.  Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  The factory 20” GT3 center-lock wheels come dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires which were all mounted within the last year.

Inside, this Touring sports a black interior upholstered in leather and Alcantara with cloth seat centers and Anthracite Brushed Aluminum trim.  Optional details include illuminated doorsill guards in stainless steel, seatbelts in Guards Red, instrument dials in White, and the Chrono Package with a stopwatch dial in White.  Additional equipment includes the Front Axle Lift System, an extended range fuel tank, the Light Design Package, Bose Surround Sound System, automatically dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, Voice Control, and the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS).  A red stripe has been added to the top center marking of the steering wheel and an all-season WeatherTech rubber mat has been fitted in the trunk.

This 991.2 GT3 features a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine that revs up to 9k-RPM while producing as much as 500 HP.  Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.2 seconds and a top speed over 190 MPH.  Rear-axle steering and PASM suspension are equipped as standard.  The exhaust has been upgraded with Cargraphic headers, 200-cell catalytic converters, and Soul Performance center and side valved muffler bypass pipes.  The original exhaust components are said to accompany the sale.  All maintenance was carried out by Porsche of Fort Wayne under the original ownership including a major service in August of 2020 with new spark plugs, drive belts, air filters, and an oil change.  The seller confirms that another oil and filter change has been carried out within the last 50 miles.  A DME report is provided for reference in the gallery along with service and upgrade invoices.

This sale will include a set of two keys, owner's manuals, the original window sticker, service records, and a clean title.  Offered at no reserve, this nicely optioned and well-maintained GT3 Touring presents an opportunity that is not to be missed.

@id37833 It looks like two screws hold it on. Euro Options were Double Side Tape and Permanent. The paper work shows 1st owner initials at Permanent.

  • id37833 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@hammermc I believe they said the plate was permanently affixed to the front bumper. So i assumed that means drilled .

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @TxnBluDvl Correct, thank you.

  • TxnBluDvl (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@hammermc Driven confirmed earlier in response to my question on the same topic:

"@TxnBluDvl Confirmed. The original owner selected the permanent mount option on the Euro Delivery paperwork."

We had a question come in about O'Daniel Jeep as the servicing dealer for the Touring.
They are the franchise Porsche Dealer in Fort Wayne and are part of the O'Daniel Automotive Group. The O'Daniel Automotive Group is among the top 10 percent of dealerships recognized in the U.S. that have demonstrated excellent customer reviews. Porsche Fort Wayne has been serving Fort Wayne and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. A family owned organization who prides themselves in customer service before, during and after the sale.

@fairdealtrader We are not familiar with Cali regulations however it passes emissions in TX and has never shown a check engine light for as long as we have had the car. Depending Cali requirements on retaining all factory exhaust parts you may need reinstall the stock components. The stock exhaust components are being included with the car so you should not have any issues.

  • fairdealtrader (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@TxnBluDvl In answer your questions, 1) you are correct there is a very small ding/mark in the stainless sill trim. Will upload a photo to try show to show it better. 2) currently installed is a Soul bypass. We had the Fabspeed bypass and central muffler removed in one piece and installed the full Soul bypass system in one piece. The complete Fabspeed and Soul systems plus the original headers, cats, side mufflers, central muffler all go with the car if the winner wants them

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@dennisconnie2 Sure, will get some pics as requested and post shortly. It's a GT3 so no "back seats", presume you mean seat backs?

  • TxnBluDvl (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    Few questions:
    (1) in the video, it appears that there may be a ding on the stainless steel step trim on the passenger side. can you confirm and/or provide a more detailed picture?
    (2) in the receipts, it notes a fabspeed bypass but the listing notes soul speed bypass (center + side). is there a receipt for the latter? can you confirm what is actually installed?

  • dennisconnie2 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    Gr8 car
Please add some inside pics of the front and back seats door panels etc
    Thanks

  • Formula59 2 years, 5 monthsago

+1 For a great car and better seller. As a Houston resident and Porsche buyer I have had the opportunity to do business and spend personal time with the team at Driven. They are very involved with the PCA community here. Owner is a class act through and through. Bid with confidence.

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Since the rear bumper cover has to be removed to check the air filters, we always verify for ourselves. Just uploaded a photo to confirm the air filters are clean.

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

We received a DM asking about the mark on the rear black plastic trim. It can be seen in the cold start video at 21 24 seconds in. We also just uploaded a photo as well.

  • PorscheTG (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    What a great spec!

I love the seats (my GT3T has sport seats). They will hold you firmly around the track and are great for a trip. Comfortable, supportive and you can get into the back area!

Front Axle Lift is so helpful. I didn’t think I would really use it, but I use it every day.

GT3Ts are simply amazing - and this one is beautiful! I would rather have a car that is driven and well maintained (like this one) - rather than one that has sat for 3 years.

Someone is going to get a great car.

  • Goose905 2 years, 5 monthsago

@DrivenTexas perfect, thank you. And great videos!

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@salmjo1 Agreed it does sound fabulous. PSA - at no time during the making of the driving
videos was a GT3 Touring harmed. Oil and Water temps were at optimal values prior to driving, and maximum RPM were kept below 7k.

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@Goose905 Obtained direct from 2nd owner through one of our contacts out of state. Not at a Manheim auto auction if that was behind your question.

  • salmjo1 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Wow! I can't stop listening to it, and the spec is so unique. Absolutely fantastic!

  • Goose905 2 years, 5 monthsago

Curious to know how you acquired the car? Beautiful spec and great to see a GT3 T that’s been enjoyed! GLWA

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@id37833 There is PPF on the entire front bumper, entire front fenders, entire hood, A-pillars, mirrors, rockers, and over the rear fenders. There is also Brey plastic film protection on the windshield.

  • id37833 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Does the vehicle have any paint protection? If not, any rock chips etc? Being that it seem like this vehicle was actually driven. Thanks in advance

@Htx Thank you for your kind words. Looking forward to running Tejas Turismo Chapter III in a few weeks.

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@TxnBluDvl Confirmed. The original owner selected the permanent mount option on the Euro Delivery paperwork.

  • Htx (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

I met the seller (@driventexas) a few years ago at a Texas Hill Country road rally. He has been a wellspring of knowledge and Porsche information for me ever since. He sources only super clean cars and makes sure they are properly sorted prior to selling them. He is a highly respected member of the Porsche and Exotic Car communities here in Houston, and one of the most honest and straightforward individuals out there. The auction winner will love this amazing GT3 Touring. GLWTA.

Can you confirm whether the euro delivery plate was drilled into the front bumper?

@Balzan Good question on the wing and yes it has the Touring powered rear wing/spoiler. Just uploaded videos on the wing raising and lowering, hopefully they show up soon.

  • Balzan (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Thank you for your speedy reply and great answers. I also wonder, does it have the auto spoiler on the back like other Porsches?

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@Balzan We are not familiar with Cali regulations however it passes emissions in TX and has never shown a check engine light for as long as we have had the car. Depending Cali requirements on retaining all factory exhaust parts you may need reinstall the stock components. The stock exhaust components are being included with the car.
Yes, we will assign the clean title to the winner so they can Title and Register in their State. If the winner is a Texas resident, we are required to perform TT&L in Texas on behalf of the winner. In this case winner will need to cover 6.25% sales tax (based on winning bid value) plus approximately $140 in Titling and Registration fees.
We are not a Porsche Dealer so cannot offer Porsche CPO. Per the CarFax It doesn’t look like the car ever had Porsche CPO so presumably the original 4-year factory warranty would apply commencing the delivery date. Looking at the O’Daniel invoices, the delivery date is stated as 02May2018. We have all paperwork for original Euro Delivery program, but don’t have any paperwork to know if it was originally purchased with the extra Porsche tire, wheel, glass protection.

  • Balzan (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Can it pass SMOG testing in California? Will you send a clean title so the buyer if outside of Texas can title the car themselves? Are you a Porsche Dealer and if so does it get certified and come with a 2 year warrantee? Are there any other warrantees such as tire and wheel?

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Someone messaged us about remaining brake pad thickness. Just checked and it is 9-9.5 mm remaining pad thickness on the fronts and rears.

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@FPD Heated seats, not ventilated (cooled). Porsche 4-ways, with power up/down seat cushion, power front/rear lean angle of the seat back. Manual seat sliders (which we like for ease of egress/ingress and not waiting on a slow seat motor).

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    Inspection photo uploaded.

  • FPD 2 years, 5 monthsago

Looks like the seats are heated or ventilated? Power up and down on the seats?

  • sharkhunter84 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@DrivenTexas good to hear and thanks for the prompt reply!

  • DrivenTexas (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@sharkhunter84 Good question. As a TX dealer we are required to maintain valid inspections on our inventory every 6 months. The car passed TX safety and emissions inspection on 08/07/21. Stock exhaust components are included as part of the auction. A picture of same was uploaded late yesterday. If the winner prefers we'd be happy to reinstate all stock exhaust components onto the car at no cost.

  • sharkhunter84 (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@DrivenTexas has it passed TX emissions/inspection since youve had it? Wondering bc of the 200 cell, and if the stock cats are included thanks

@smlobx Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if the car was tracked by the previous owner(s). But if you look at one of the August 2020 receipts from O'Daniel it says "perform track inspection" so one could assume the car has seen a track. Regarding the over revs, it shows range 1 and 2, the last of which occurred in its first 150 operating hours. It has a total 67 range 3, the last of which occurred almost 500 hours ago, so that should not be concerning. As far as we are aware, the DME logs the last most high range. i.e. it does not log a 1, or 2 if there is a 3. It just logs the 3. Range 3 are our limit at Driven and the car needs to have at least 50 operating hours since the occurrence. We avoid buying cars with Range 4 or above. Hope this is helpful. And we're happy to be corrected if our interpretation of the logged data is incorrect.

  • smlobx (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

So am I correct in assuming that this car was tracked? There are quite a few over revs…
