@MWright Good afternoon, thank you for your questions. The bolsters and headrests are indeed leather. Unfortunately I do not know the year of manufacture, but the seats appear to be in like new condition and barely used. Happy bidding!

Are the bolsters & headrest leather or vinyl?

    Age of seats?

@Astonmartin66 Very helpful. I have cars with both types of seats, so can appreciate your assessment.

@rbates - Although I really like the look of these seats I am more comfortable in the comfort seats, so I'm swapping originals back in the car. These are very similar to the original Porsche sport seats and are VERY supportive. It's been a while since I last sat in original sport seats so I cannot give you an accurate comparison, but from my recollection these are very similar with respect to support. Hope that helps.

    Questions for seller:

Why were the seats removed from the 71 Targa?

How would you compare the comfort/support of these seats with the standard Porsche seat for 1971, and the Sport seat? These look to be closer to the Sport.

    Thanks.

@gregjohn007 Good afternoon. Please note additional pictures of the backs and bottoms of both seats have been added, along with photos of various measurements. The long lever on the outside of each seat is the tilt release handle. Hope this helps; bid confidently, they truly are beautiful seats.
