Sold for $350
I had a few questions about shipping:
I will ship anywhere in the world for an extra charge. Shipping is usps priority (international)
Bid in the amount of $350
It does indeed. Thank you.
@Fevr The depth from the back of the face plate to the back of the unit is about 5.75”. This could be adjusted.
The length of the dash cut out should be atleast 7.5” in diameter. The radio has side brackets that expand to keep the radio in place from the sides.
The unit comes with an accessory that goes over the radio incase the height of the dash cut out is to high.
This will ensure the radio is fixated firmly and wont move.
Hope this helps
Bid in the amount of $300
What is the depth from the rear of face plate to back of unit, ie, length behind dashboard that must be available to accommodate unit? Thx for prior speedy reply!

@CaptBob Commonly the amp would be installed under the passenger foot board or sometimes under passenger seat.
The Bamberg QTS radio was common for European spec cars. US cars commonly received the Blaupunkt CR-3001. My fathers 81’ SC has it, amp installed under the passenger footboard
Where was the amp installed by the dealer as a factory upgrade? My COA for my 1982 930 indicates a Blaupunkt Bamberg.
@Silver930 The Houston was not a Porsche optioned radio, however it was a dealer option. This radio is period correct for 84-86’ cars. At 2018 Porsche parade, i have seen this radio installed in an original very low mileage 1985 911 Carrera M491(Turbo Look)
The original owner said he picked the Houston as an upgrade to the Blaupunkt Monterey when ordering his car back in 1985.
Hope this helps
Does anyone know what Porsche this Houston would have come it ?
Looks like a nice Unit. My 1987 cars all had the Reno 1.
