This particular example is a rare limited edition that was made for Shell Corporation, finished in red and white with the Shell logo etched in the crystal and includes its original box with a commemorative label stating that Shell is the “Official Supplier of Fuels and Lubricants to HONDA MARLBORO McLAREN F1 World Champions”. The seller states the watch is in mint condition with a new battery installed. The watch case depicts Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4/5. Included with the sale is an original 1988 framed magazine advertisement of the same watch and car, and a 1/43 model of the same race car, which had Tag Heuer as a sponsor, placed on the front nose of the car.
