Up for auction is this original painting "Hippie 3" by automotive artist, Andreas Somogyi. This four-piece Acrylic painting brilliantly portrays the abstract design behind the legendary 917 hippy racecar. A favorite of the artist, the Porsche 917 racecar was just as much an art-piece as it was a staple in Porsche vintage racing history. Andreas Somogyi is a seasoned automotive artist and designer.  Due to his innate talent, Andreas went on to be a cast member of the well known hit television series called Overhaulin’ running on The Discovery Channel.  His passion for cars began at a very young age and continues to influence his incredible art-pieces.  Andreas creates small and large scale paintings setting his own style among the automotive art world.
