Available for auction is a lightly used OEM Porsche 997 Titanium GT3 RS muffler. The muffler includes necessary flanges, gaskets, and flange nuts. The seller states the muffler is practically brand new and in excellent condition. The muffler was briefly mounted and still bears its inspection sticker. The muffler is constructed of titanium and weighs approximately 8.77 pounds. The muffler has OEM part number 997.111.027.97 and was meant for the 997 Porsche GT3 RS. The muffler may fit other models, please confirm fitment prior to bidding. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

The tips attach via three bolts and have a range of both lateral and height adjustment. As a result, many different bolt-on aftermarket tips are available. I've bolted both 997 and 991 tips onto different GT3 mufflers.

Greetings titanium fans! Two of my three previous listings were also made of titanium (watches), welcome to number three.
This is a relatively exotic piece. They don't come around very often, in comparison to the standard GT3's more conventional steel center muffler.
Per the description, the item is a new car take off with barely any delivery miles on it. It is exceedingly clean, the inner passages practically pass the white glove test and the paper inspection sticker is still intact.
This unit was originally acquired in for use in a lightweight 911 G Body build (in conjunction with valved secondaries), but the scope of the project has since evolved. It fits 997 GT3s and my understanding is that the muffler itself has the same dimensions as the 991 GT3 (although the tips are different diameterz between the two models).
At 8.77 pounds, the unit is extremely light. It needs to be felt to be believed (I'll add some pics that illustrate). The unit includes original flanges, gaskets (doughnuts) and attendant mounting hardware (nuts).
