There are plenty of people that think Americans will shell out money without care. Look at your illuminated dealer sign. Care to say where it was used?

As to this sign, even the dots on the rear are stuck on crooked. Porsche has exacting standards.

Your Ferrari sign is fake. Dime a dozen. And lucky you found it at a flea market, and an expert said it's real. Go to Ebay, look at the way they age the mounting holes.

Back to the illuminated sign....where was this used, and when?

  • Schilderfee (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@TubeGuy They amuse me a lot, please share more of your fantastic expertise. Because what you are saying is nonsense. But you must be a very smart guy, what you said in the last comment says everything about you. and now please don't waste my time anymore and go pet your signs and around to make one more point, my sign from India you are talking about has been classified by an enamel sign expert as a real sign from the 80's but again that statement says a lot about your spiritual level.

every word to you was too much, because you have absolutely no idea

  • TubeGuy (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@Schilderfee @hgfghggf Yeah. Stickers. Like the ones on this one that say where it came from, meaning it is a Porsche product.

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/dealtank-porsche-crest-dealership-sign/ That is a real Porsche sign. It's heavy like 11 lbs, has a bold relief instead of being flat, and the finish looks like it's fired ceramic tiles. STUNNING. EXPENSIVE. And worth it.

Looking at your offerings in your past auctions, you are right. I'm not on your level. Like your Ferrari enamel sign. https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/no-reserve-original-ferrari-sign-32-x-17/ It has all the patina that you would expect from Bombay India. Look at the lower right screw hole. What a joke. Fake patina you see on Ebay. I know my stuff, dude. Don't play me. If it were real, it would command more than $650, and wouldn't be sold at no reserve. I have a couple REAL illuminated Ferrari signs and would never sell them no reserve.

This sign offered here may have been used for something. Maybe. But it's a plastic sign and a vinyl image. And it looks great. Go to a Porsche dealership in your town and look to see if they use anything similar. I've not seen a plastic one. It's PORSCHE.

I have seen the one like I own, but they sell for $4k-$5k.

  • Schilderfee (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@TubeGuy your reaction and your last comment reflects your knowledge perfectly. Many Thanks. not my level.

    All the best

    Stickers ?

  • TubeGuy (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

I said "It appears to be a printed picture on a plastic material. Not sure if this is an actual Porsche product." That's exactly what it is. A picture printed on plastic. I also said I'm not sure if it is a Porsche product. I did not say it isn't.

I have Ferrari and Porsche factory signs, and they have stickers attesting to that. So I said I'm not sure. I didn't say it isn't. But don't get your panties in a bunch. Because you are in Stuttgart means little.

The sign is beautiful, but what I said is hardly dangerous.

  • Schilderfee (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@JJensen please don't apologize for that. You can't do anything about it, as you may have read I'm from near Stuttgart and so I'm really at the source, I can sell the article with a clear conscience. I take the trouble to put really nice pieces here so that the American market might get something like that, comments like that just make you sad and a little angry.

should you possibly purchase the coat of arms, I will give you a small present.

have a nice day to you.

  • JJensen (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

Sorry I opened up a can of worms ! This item looks as if it is of nice quality and should be enjoyed for what it is. Beauty in the eye of the beholder !

  • Schilderfee (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@TubeGuy where does this dangerous half-knowledge come from? I don't think it's very nice to make such an assertion, you can't judge this by pictures.

look up my location on google, i'm at the source.

but statements like that scare off potential prospects or buyers, not fair of you.

And if you look at my other articles and the ones to come you will see what untrue claims you are making. Please refrain from doing so in the future. Porsche has also had to save in recent years and has issued high-quality plastic signs for car dealerships and workshops.

  • Schilderfee (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@JJensen Hello, the sign is made of plastic and has a high-quality print, the pictures say a lot about it. an original with a guarantee, even at Porsche the last few years have been saved and it's not all over anymore

  • Magicalmachine (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@TubeGuy i was trying to figure this out as well. how could you tell if it is a 2D or print?

  • TubeGuy (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

It appears to be a printed picture on a plastic material. Not sure if this is an actual Porsche product.
