Dear interested parties, a few words about this key.

The key head is made of solid gold 750 carats, the total weight is 39 grams which is 1.37 ounces. The brass blank for the key blade will weigh about 9 grams. So we are at around 1 ounce of pure gold content. The key has no deep scratches, I am sure the goldsmith who will do the conversion can polish out all the fine scratches. The gold is currently slightly tarnished, but also not more.

I have an advertising flyer from a small manufactory near Stuttgart where Porsche made miniature cars from gold, very high quality.

I can well imagine that this key head comes from a similar manufactory.

I think the key was made in the mid-1980s under really great craftsmanship.
