As a tribute to one of Porsche’s most iconic sports cars, this 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster replica is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in Guards Red over a black interior, it features front disc brakes, a black soft top, Porsche-crested hubcaps, a roll bar, an aftermarket head unit, and more. Having benefited from a recent engine overhaul, this Speedster replica is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
The fiberglass body is finished in Guards Red with a black convertible soft top. Exterior details include chrome trim, body-colored bumpers, a driver-side mirror, Porsche badging, and a roll bar wrapped in rubber padding. The car rides on 15” chrome slotted wheels with Porsche-crested hubcaps, and a space-saver spare is mounted in the front trunk. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl with gray cloth seat inserts and features a matching dash and door panels. Equipment includes a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Porsche-style crest, VDO instrumentation, a fire extinguisher mounted in the passenger footwell, a padded rolled bar, and an aftermarket head unit.
Power comes from an air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-four-cylinder engine that was recently overhauled and resealed. The rear wheels are driven through a Volkswagen-sourced 4-speed manual transmission, and front disc and rear drum brakes facilitate stopping power. The seller notes the car received a recent full service, including fresh fluids and various minor adjustments.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A great car that's sorted and ready to drive and enjoy this summer. This example presents nicely. And drives very well. Engine is freshly sorted and car is fully serviced.”
