Up for auction is this newly rebuilt Porsche 996 3.4L engine. Factory equipped for a 996 Carrera and rated at 296 HP, this flat-six VarioCam engine was pulled from its original vehicle following failure of the air/oil separator at approximately 71k miles. It has since been completely rebuilt by the seller, a Porsche technician with over 35 years of experience. The main and rod bearings were replaced along with all chain tensioners, rod bolts, crank cage bolts, cylinder head bolts and piston rings. An Upgraded roller IMS bearing was installed as well. The heads were pressure checked for cracks and a valve job performed and a new oil cooler was fitted. There have been zero miles added to the rebuilt engine and the buyer will have to supply their own intake manifolds, fuel system, electrical harness, and auxiliary accessories. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

@VOC4S There are no other "fees". Buyer pays shipping, that is it.
In addition to shipping and handling, what “fees” are you referring to?
@uscarrera 2000
What year car did it come from?
@Moosetaco Stock 96 mm bore. No scoring so cylinders were give a very light hone. The IMS bearing is German, I do not have the box with name on it but you can see in the photo it is a sump lubricated roller bearing, double row width.
@pursuit96 stock sleeves? Also, which IMS bearing did you install?
