This 1969 Porsche 911S Coupe was originally sold in France and was acquired by the previous owner in 2008 who imported the car to Greece and commissioned a custom 911 S/T-style restoration by Porsche specialist Petropoulos. It was stripped to bare metal and fitted with wide fender flares along with a new black RS-style interior including a full roll cage and bucket seats trimmed in black leather and pepita (houndstooth) upholstery. This 911 derives power from a custom twin-plug 3.4-liter flat-six engine which was built by DUEL Motorsport in the Netherlands and is paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car also features upgraded torsion bars, shocks, and four-piston Brembo brakes. It was acquired by the current owner in 2018 and is now being offered for auction out of Belgium benefitting from a recent mechanical overhaul.

This 911 was stripped to bare metal by Petropoulos and fitted with 911 S/T-style bumpers and wide fender flares made of steel in the rear and lightweight fiberglass up front. It was finished in a nonmetallic orange paint color and decorated with a black Porsche logo decal on the rear decklid. Other accessories include chrome window moldings and door handles, a DUEL Motorsport exhaust, pop-out rear quarter windows, a polished driver’s side mirror, and 15” Fuchs wheels measuring 8” wide in front and 9” wide in the rear. The car rides on a set of new Michelin TB15 tires. The seller adds that it has been driven only a few hundred miles throughout their ownership and was always kept in dry climate-controlled storage. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin has been redone and fitted with a full welded roll cage, a lightweight spartan dashboard, RS-style door panels, and a pair of RS-style bucket seats trimmed in black leather with pepita cloth centers. Other accessories include a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, a Carrera RSR pedal assembly with adjustable brake bias, an engine start button, and toggle switches for the lights, ignition, and fuel pumps. The seller notes the tachometer was recently repaired and all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.

This 911 is equipped with a custom twin-plug 3.4-liter flat-six engine built by DUEL Motorsport in the Netherlands featuring Mahle pistons, Nikasil cylinders, Carillo rods, a Turbo crankshaft, upgraded camshafts, a lightweight flywheel, a large oil pump, and a remote oil cooler mounted in the passenger-side front wheel well. The rear wheels are driven by way of a rebuilt 5-speed 915 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car was also fitted with upgraded torsion bars and shock absorbers along with four-piston Brembo brakes. The seller indicates that the car weighs approximately 1,000kg. the engine produces 328 BHP, and the car has been driven about 6k miles since the restoration. Annual service has been performed throughout the seller’s ownership as well as a full mechanical overhaul in 2023.

This sale will include some documentation, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “I have 100% confirmed with US customs that the Greek paperwork suffices to get a clean title in the USA. It will require some translation work, all of which they can provide. The total cost for import would be around 2.500 USD, shipping would come in at around 1.850 USD to either LA or NY ports. I will be at your full disposal during the auction and can arrange everything after the auction. The new owner could choose to drive the hell out of it or bring it back to a 'factory' 2.5l setup to have a car of a value of around 400k that can participate in historical races. Happy bidding!”

As we come to the final hours of this auction we’d like to add that this 911ST is a no-expense-spared highest level quality build with a twin-spark ignition.

You simply cannot get closer in terms of balanced raw power and pure driving pleasure.

The 911 ST remains one of the very best looking Porsches of the sixties and this example comes with an all-round performance upgrade. An opportunity not to be missed.

    Good luck to all bidders.

  • Henchman (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

That's an incredibly tasteful build. Love the aggressive stance! Already jealous of who ever might win this. Good luck with the auction!

  • Pureos (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

Tha car is amazing!! I wish UGO all best to sell it with a good price here pcarmarket.

  • UGO (seller) 5 months, 2 weeksago

@FonsVanCaelenberghe DONE! If you need anything else, just let me know. Please bear in mind, that the car was not completely warmed up for the video so I did not push it. All I can say is, once warmed up, the sound is absolutely insane! :-)

  • FonsVanCaelenberghe (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

Can we please get a video of the car before the end of the auction?

@classicspotted Thank you for your kind words, Antonis. You did an absolutely outstanding job with the build. Let’s make some new friends by finding a new home for this amazing Porsche build!

  • gfcollins911 (registered bidder) 5 months, 3 weeksago

Beautiful car. Could you provide some detail on what was done under the “full mechanical overhaul” this year?

  • classicspotted 5 months, 3 weeksago

I have no words to describe the pure joy of driving that car. The amount of detail that was added to that 911 is immense. Simply dismantling it and selling the parts might be worth more than the current bidding. I sold it to @ugo a few years ago and since then we have become friends as well. One can use my username to check my Instagram profile to see my credibility while claiming that @ugo is as trustworthy a seller as it can get. A true gentleman. I wish that such a gem of a car will be soon driven in the US in cars & coffee meetings as well as mountain roads or tracks. Bid with utmost confidence.

  • UGO (seller) 5 months, 3 weeksago

    @robertschachtesq four-piston Brembo calipers!

  • robertschachtesq (registered bidder) 5 months, 3 weeksago

What brakes are you running with? Brembo? Stock? Boxster ?

  • UGO (seller) 5 months, 3 weeksago

@maladent thank you! Builds of this quality with a historically correct 2.4L engine trade for that kind of money in Germany. The new owner could decide to make that build with this car, but I would not really recommend it because this car is perfectly balanced as it is!

And do not worry, my reserve is nowhere near that!

  • maladent 5 months, 3 weeksago

@UGO Beautiful re-creation. Can you please elaborate on how you value this car at $400K?
    Thanks

  • FonsVanCaelenberghe 5 months, 3 weeksago

Bid in the amount of $70,000

  • UGO (seller) 5 months, 3 weeksago

Hello everyone and welcome to the auction of this absolute machine of a car! It has been very well taken care of but it is time to find a new caring home for my orange beauty.

I will be here to answer any questions throughout the auction. The main question regarding shipments and import to the US as been taken care of in advance to make sure you can bid with confidence. The car can 100% be registered in the US and I am happy to assist with worldwide shipping.

    Happy bidding!
    UGO
