Up for auction is this vintage 1940s-50s "Auto-Lite Electric Service" double-sided porcelain neon sign. The dramatic double bullnose design ehibits natural patina and bright neon. This unrestored sign depicts the logo of Autolite, an American manufacturer of automotive electronics and ignition components whose origins date back to 1911. Created by Walker & Co. of Detroit, MI, this sign measures approximately 70" wide by 39" tall and 12" thick, and is mounted on a side bracket measuring 12" by 15". A beautifully preserved and authentic piece of motoring history, this rare neon sign is a perfect choice for any collector of automotive memorabilia or vintage Americana. The buyer is responsible, for shipping, handling, and fees.
