Available for auction is a vintage illuminated Agip Oil sign. The seller states this Agip sign measures 99" x 38" x 5" and utilizes internal neon illumination. The sign displays the distinctive Agip logo. The sign was produced by Neon Bassano. 
NeonBassano began producing signage in 1949 with the production of neon signs for a rising large-scale industry. Its first client was Supercortemaggiore, which later became known as Agip. This relationship leads the company, over the decades 60s and 70s, to specialize increasingly in the production of neon signs for the Italian network of fuel service stations.
